This is the northern half of the province of Palawan in west Philippines. It is about 500 km from the provincial capital of Puerto Princessa to either Manila or Cebu. The vehicle trip from Puerto to Roxas takes a couple of hours. The road has been improved over the years. It used to take 4-5 hours!
